Use higher quality paper. I know it sound simple and below most people to even think that the paper itself is the problem, but it is a cheap solution, and works more than 80% of the time.

I keep getting paper jams. Even if I put one sheet of paper in at a time, the paper keeps jamming and won't print.

Hi
I live in the mid west - during our significantly humid days my 926 wouldn't pull in any paper. I tried a lot of home grown techniques but none worked. I finally raised the air temp in my office which tended to dry out the paper and that worked. Of course your problem could be a broken gear or a worn out feed tire - also something stuck in the printer.

Paper jam on Dell Photo 926

Hello there
You may not see a paper jam.

This may work for you, it has worked for many here I given this advice so gave it a try it could work for you. Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.

And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.

Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

My dell photo 926 printer keeps jamming up

When you refer to jamming up, what has happened is that the rollers are actually collecting fibers from paper every time you print.

First try and use iospropyl alcohol on the rollers and fan out your paper before printing.

If this doesn't work, check to see if the paper is grabbing evenly.

My printer keeps saying I have a paper jam, but after inspection I cannot find any paper that is jammed. I also put the copy paper in the correct tray, however when I try to do any of the all-in-one...

usually you have to look at the sensors trough were the paper goes (a small pice of plastic that is suposed to move) maybe you have a blocked sensor.
