Question about SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player

1 Answer

Please Help! After adding new music to my e250, I unplugged it and tried to listen to it. It began turning on normally, but then it faded out and kept turning on and off by itself. I can turn it off but I can't get to anything except the SanDisk welcome screen. Please help, I am afraid that maybe my sansa has been whiped clean, music, software and all.

Please try to reset the device by holding the power button for about 15 to 20 seconds..that should reset the device...If that doesnt help go to the sandisk website to download the firmware application...

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Interference when playing

Given the troubleshooting steps you have already performed, the only other thing to try would be a different set of headphones. If that is not successful, checking and updating the firmware is a last ditch effort. Failing at that, you're looking at failed components and either official repair/replacement or to be comfortable with component-level work with the innards using a multimeter and soldering iron and hoping that you can find what failed.

Connect it to your computer and format it and then again try to upload music on it.
Thanks

My mp3 player frozzed on my when i was adding the music to my ps3

SOLUTION 1 - Reset the device.
SOLUTION 2 - Re-seat the battery.
1. Remove the battery.
2. Connect the player to the PC to verify if it turns on.
3. Ensure the player's connectors are touching the battery terminals.
4. Re-seat the battery to ensure proper connection.
5. Verify if the player turns on.

NOTE: If the player turns on when connected to the PC but not stand-alone, the battery may need replacement.

Deleted all my songs, and talks about freeing 6MB?

Reset your player back to normal. Note that this will delete all files you have on your player, but it resets the player as if you just bought it. To do a safe reset, please make sure that your player is only a Sansa E250, not Sansa E250R. Here is the link that resets your player back to normal. http://forums.sandisk.com/sansa/board/message?board.id=smc&thread.id=755
If you understand it carefully, you will have no problems. I recommend you read it one by one so that your player doesn't get bricked (kind of un-repairable) because the steps you followed were wrong.

I had the excact same thing just turn it on and let the battery run all the way down, then all you have to do is charge it. If this does not work make sure you are running the battery all the way down. Trust me this works.
Good Luck

When you plug it into the wall make sure you turn it off and let it charge all the way before you start using it again. see if that helps
