HP 1510V printing double-sided, pop up window stopped showing.

On my HP 1510V printing double-sided, what used to happen is after it printed all the odd pages, a window would pop up telling me to reload the pages and press continue. But the window stopped showing and there is no way to continue printing. Everything just hangs.

SOURCE: HP Officejet J5780 All-In-One Won't print double sided with Vista

You can install an instance of the Deskjet 6500 series drivers using "Add Printer", local printer, (use the same port the J5780 is installed on). You can have this co-exist with the J5780 driver and you could name it J5780 Duplex if you wish.

Duplex printing in HP 2420dn on Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4

According to the specs, this printer does not have a duplex unit and therefore cannot print double sided prints.
DOUBLE SIDED PRINTING USING A SINGLE SIDED PRINTER
If your printer does not have a duplex unit then the printercannot print double sided pages automatically.
You can print double sided pages but you have to do it one page at a time.
First print Page 1 then place the page back into the paper tray, but turn thepage upside down and the print Page 2.
Then print page 3 on one side then page 4 on the other side and repeat for therest of the document.
I suggest you try a test page first, to get the printing the right way up onboth sides of the page so it reads correctly.

I just updated Greeting Card Factory from 7 verson to 8. The first time I tried to print a card, a box popped up from Greeting Card factory saying ''failed to get double sided print options. Print...

I got the same message. I completed the window to set up the printer option and then it printed. But I didn't like the quality. I checked the box that said best but the lettering was grainy looking. Also the print preferences box won't open in my printer's window. I also am not showing the option to reducw size. It is there but only in light gray. I think they have issues to work out with this new program.

I have a document that will not cancel or print

Depending on the operating system - go to services, which can be accessed from computer management OR just by typing services.msc in the run.. command. Once you have the services interface open - find print spooler services - right click and select stop to stop the service. Check to see if that document still shows - most likely you will not be able to see as printer interface will not open. Now right click print spooler service and selct start to start the service. Check - most likely doucment would disappear.

Printer not working properly

The DeskJet printers are notorious for this problem. When you turn the printer off and back on in the middle of a print job, it gets confused when it is back on and cannot interpret the print language when it resumes from the computer. Whenever this happens in the future, you need to delete the print job off your pc before turning the printer back on. If you have windows XP, click START, SETTINGS, PRINTERS&FAXES, then double-click on your printer icon. When the queue window comes up, right-click on the active print job, select DELETE, then reply YES to confirm. If you don't see the print job delete (it might take a minute or so), then you will have to stop/start your Windows print spooler. Go to START, SETTINGS, CONTROL PANEL. Double-click the ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS icon. Double-click the SERVICES icon. Scroll down and locate PRINT SPOOLER. Right-click on it and select STOP. Wait about 10 seconds, then right-click on it again and select START. Close out of the SERVICES & CONTROL PANEL windows. Open your printer status window again and see if it is clear. Once it is clear, it will be safe to turn your printer back on. Hope this helps.
