DVD Recorder/Player..Not Reading Dvd's,Takes 1-2 Minutes, Then Nothing
I Have A Couple Of Used Dvd Reorder/Players That Load The DVD, Than Attempt At Reading The Dvd, A Long Atrtempt To Read Ensues, Then Units Either Tell You By Ejecting The Dvd,Or Stopping The Attempted Reading. I Actually Have SOME Dvd's That These Players Will Read,But Probably Only 1, Or 2 Out Of Every 15 Dvd's.

Very easy to solve:
Please read manual to see how you can FINALIZE or CLOSE the disk. Until it is not finalized or closed, you will not be able to read them in any other DVD player only in your recorder. If you don't have your recorder, please let me know and I will tell you what to do on your PC to fix it, but this takes longer, finalizing takes 1 minute or 2.
Multiple problems with the DVD recorder one of them could be the lasers not reading correctly its software is messed up or there something wrong with this but to me it sounds more like the DVD recorder has a problem I've experienced this problem before not with this particular type of DVD recorder I fix the problem by unplugging the DVD player for about 20 seconds to a minute to give it a good reset.
Quick tip: most high Tech Device problems or unknown errors can be fixed by simple restart or reset hope this helps
Hi, your problem is the laser lens, it went sour. This device is coded to read only region 1 disks, when U attempt to read other regions disks it will read them once, 2 or 3 times but then... it will stop reading any disk regardless the region they are. Regions codes were implanted on disks to control piracy, so USA has region 1, Mexico 4, Asia I believe is 3 and so on. There are a total of 6 regions worldwide, U have to get disks matching the region U are from or, better solution... get a multi-region DVD player.
Hi there, Make sure you Finalize the disc when you are done recording, otherwise it won't be read on other players or computers. To do this you go to Setup> Disc and choose Finalize. It takes a few minutes per disc, don't turn off the player while it it finalizing. In the same Setup menu you can choose an option to autofinalize the disc when you are done recording, so you do not have to to it manually each time.
it is quiet clear that you have a miss reading laser gun
you have to try to clean the eye piece with a cd cleaner disk ,it is cheep ,try to buy one and put it in the the tray and play for couple of minutes Aand that is all
