Try picking up the handle where you put the coffee and kinda slam (not too hard) back down. I found that resets the coffeemaker. Also when you make coffee I also noticed that you when the water is hot you have to pick up the handle again and put it back down then the two blue lights start to blink and you decide what size cup you want.

Error 5800 pixma 6821 printer

This answer came from Andrew here.........

Long story short, you will have to reset the waste ink counter.
Resetting the waste ink counter:
  1. Unplug all power and USB cables
  2. Open the cartridge door
  3. Hold the power button, and keep holding it while plugging the printer power cable back in
  4. Release the power button once all lights are on.
  5. When the green power light turns off, press the power button quickly two times
  6. The green light will start blinking. Wait for it to stabilize.
  7. Close the cartridge door and print a test document.

My canon ir 5180 blinks only d green light but d screen does not open

Start with the printer OFF:

1. Hold down RESUME and then hold down POWER
2. release RESUME
3. press RESUME twice, then release POWER
4. Let green light blink until printer is done futzing

Select function with RESUME press POWER to execute:

presses - light color - function

0 - green - Pressing power button will turn off printer
1 - orange - Service Test Print
2 - green - EEPROM Information Print
3 - orange - Initialize EEprom data
4 - green - Reset Waste ink Counter
5 - orange - Mode to set Destination code
(1: Overseas, 2: Domestic)
6 - green - Refresh printhead (cleaning mode)

I assume the printhead is cleaning and you need to wait for it to finish cleaning. That could take over a minute and a half; I don't know what that delay is for your printer.

If that is not the issue, you may have to reset the printer. This may be possible as follows:
  1. Hold down HELP + OK button and unplug printer (could experiment with regular power-off, but I opted for brute force)
  2. Hold down HELP + OK button again as you plug the printer back in. Then power it on, if it doesn't power on automatically. Be Safe: keep holding the buttons until the printer turns itself off. (It took mine less than a minute.)
  3. Release the buttons and simply power it back on. (If you unplug it without powering it down, you may get an improper shutdown error message. If so, click OK on the printer.)
If you are looking at a blank computer screen after all of this, you might try uninstalling and reinstalling the driver.

If this does not fix the problem, you better look into troubleshooting on the manufacturer's site for help for your particular printer.

Compaq sr2013wm

1/ do you have an ethenet cable plugged in ? is this light located on this plug ? unplug the cable first
2/ check that the monitor is switching ON
3/ find a power switch at the back of the case and switch off and/or unplug the power cable, for at least 10 sec
4/ switch on/connect power cable, and turn computer ON
5/ if nothing happens, then power supply may be dead ; don't worry it's inexpensive and super-easy to change ! but first check the manual (or manufacturer) for the meaning of the GREEN LIGHT ! Then open the case and CHECK if the computer is perfectly CLEAN, or DIRTY ; especially double check the RAM modules ! Clean everything with air spray and soft brush (pull out processor, ram, cards, if you find lot of dirt)
6/ after cleaning try to turn on computer again ; if fails, go to buy a new cheap power supply that fits your motherboard, or try to find someone that can lend you one for testing

good luck

The green light on my prince lionheart warmer won't stop blinking

I realize the original question is 2 1/2 years old but for future answer searchers... the flashing light means your power cord is no longer working.

Green timer light won't stop flashing on mitsubishi ws 73711.

the green light blinking is normal if set has been unplugged--when set is plugged back it should blink for about 70 seconds and then go out--then you can try to turn it on---it is the DM unit inside the set booting up.

If the light just blinks and never stops you have likely bad caps in the DM unit---there are kits available for that.

The other possible reason is that so called reset switch may be bad--fairly easy way to find that out and it is more common than you would think, let me know if you have questions.

Blinking lights

let it blink for about 15 minutes, then adjust each one of the settings, then turn it off and back on, for some reason it stops flashing and will work. Warning, after doing this for about a week, mine now has no power at all. It is plugged in and the outlet works and there is no power going to the machine, it is not even a year old!

PROBLEM COPYING WITH MY ALL- IN- ONE

This message is inbuilt into most Canon printers, there is spongy thing in the printer which when fills up fires the message (it's mostly a counter in the printer, which can be reset more later...), per Canon this can only be dealt with in a lab but some of the more adventurous have tried cleaning it by themselves. Note that in a lab they won't clean it, it's a part that needs replacing and it might cost around $60. In most Canon printers there is a reset procedure that can reset the error and allow you to print some more before handling it again. Following are the reset procedures for some of the Printers: (not that F60 isn't listed here) Canon GENERIC "S" SERIES RESET CODE Waste Ink Counter Reset. (1) Turn off the printer. (2) Press and hold the RESUME button, then press and hold the POWER button. (3) Release the RESUME button, Next press and release the RESUME button two(2) more times in succession. Note: you are still holding the POWER button). The printer's carriage will "reset" or move momentarily. If the above was properly performed the printer will enter the "Service Mode". (4) Press the RESUME button 4 times, this will select the clear waste ink counter function. The lamp will alternate (change) color with each key press. 1. Service/Factory test printout, including ink sensor check. 2. EEPROM - Info printout. 3. EEPROM - Initialization. 4. Reset the Waste ink counter. 5. Printer model setting. (More selections beyond this point - However it is best leave them unaltered - You have been warned!) After selecting the desired mode (eg 4), press the POWER button to "set" the change, and return to the top of the function selection menu.
