Please give me the model number of your Daewoo TV. Without it, how can I send you a solution to your problem, whether it in case of TV or with remote control handset. Give me details please. OK.

You can try these codes 2211 or 3308 if they do not work you will need to reset the unit. You will need to unplug it for 45 minutes that will reset the TV to factory settings.

There are also reports of the master password being 4357 for some Daewoo sets.

Lastly, you can try this: be sure TV is OFF - hold the volume down button on the front of the TV AND the clear button on the remote - the TV will automatically turn back on - & you can set new password.

Additionally, if you provide more information - ie model spec - we can find more specific solutions for your particular model.

www.remotes.com has a substitution for the original remote. Unfortunately you will have to have a Daewoo remote to get it to switch over. Thanks

Hello i recently had a problem that my tv just locked itself which i think is the same type of problem, i contacted Daewoo and they gave me the following code to try and it worked, not sure if it will do the same for your set, but it might be worth a try.

press the following buttons in the remote in sequence

BLUE
YELLOW
GREEN
RED

STANDBY TO TURN OFF

STANDBY TO TURN BACK ON.

Hope this might help, if not try contacting Daewoo Electronics website and put in your model number.
