Question about Canon PowerShot A95 Digital Camera

1 Answer

Freezing after downloading several pics

Thank you for your prompt help.
I set the camera back to default. The first time it stopped again. Afterwards I replaced the USB cable and it downloaded the photos very slowly but finished. The PC continues to operate with 100% CPU load.

Buy a USB card reader, insert the camera and open it as a drive and then drag and drop your photo's to a folder on your computer.. Card readers would cost about 10-20$. The other option will be a firmware update which i have heard has screwed up some cameras..

How to reset password for a samsung SDE-3004N DVR home security system. There is no remote for the system and have lost the password.

Samsung Security DVR Default Password

For nearly all Samsung Security DVRs, the default password is 4321. If it hasn't been changed since setup, then you can just use that to access the DVR. The default password is included in the reset procedures for completeness. If you have changed your password or access code for your Samsung Security DVR since it was setup, or if you changed it during the initial setup, use that password in place of the default password. The password will be the latest password that was set on the DVR. If no password has ever been set, then it will be the default.

Steps to Reset your Samsung Security DVR

Samsung Security DVR Reset Procedure #1
  1. Reset the unit to factory by pressing both [MODE] and [PTZ] button for 5 seconds
  2. Then enter the 4321.
Samsung Security DVR Reset Procedure #2
  1. Reset the unit to factory by pressing both [MODE] and [CH2] button for 5 seconds
  2. Then enter the 4321.
Samsung Security DVR Reset Procedure #3 This reset will work on Android based DVRs only. All steps are performed on the device itself.
  1. Turn the device Off
    Wait 2 minutes
Press and hold the following buttons
    • POWER,
    • HOME
    • VOLUME UP
  2. The unit should power on. Once it does, you can release power.
  3. Use the volume UP and Down buttons to select "Wipe/Factory Reset" from the recovery menu.
  4. Activate the reset using the HOME button.
When the DVR goes through it's setup again, it will be at factory defaults. The password will be 4321.

Samsung Security DVR Reset Procedure #4 This reset will work on SDR models. It may also work on other models.
  1. With just the cameras showing, press the following in quick succession using the remote:
    • Freeze
    • Alarm
    • Freeze
    • Alarm
    • Freeze
    • Menu
    • Enter
  2. Make sure you press them quickly, one after the other. If it doesn't work the first time, try doing it several times. It can take many tries to get the timing right. If/when it works, you should get a screen that gives you the option to reset.
Samsung Security DVR Reset Procedure #5 This reset will work on SDR models where procedure #4 failed. It may also work on other models.
  1. Press the DVR Button to place the system in DVR Mode
  2. Press:
    • Freeze
    • View
    • Return
As with Procedure #4, you may need to press Freeze, View, and Return in in quick succession a few times to get it to work. The timing can be tricky.

Hi. My Fujifilm Finepixd S1800 camera has been acting up lately. When I try to take a picture, the camera takes several seconds to actually take it, the top light blinks yellow. I have brand new batteries...

Your camera takes a sizable image which could be part of the problem loading it to the card it takes a long second or two. You also may be using a shooting mode that requires a long shutter speed and have the "noise reduction" activated in this case the camera would actually take to identical pictures which would make the exposure twice as long. If this is not what you wish to do then I would suggest setting the camera back to the factory defaults, on drawback to this is you may have to set the date and time again. I was unable to find a PDF manual download for your camera so I hope you have a manual and can access the default settings.

When I take a pic, there is a delay in the time

Hi,
There could be several problems like: 1)the focus 2)Self timer set to 2sec or 10sec 3)very slow shutter speed set
Make it as a 10 or 20 second delay on the self timer .Your problem here could be that the settings are not right. Go to the menus and reset all to original or default. Then set menus the way you like. You may have a slow memory card, try changing to a faster card, and test it.
Thank you!

Acer crystal camera not working

Okay , now this can be from several issues !!

it could be that you need to reinstall the default drivers that came with your system for the new drivers may not be compadible with your device so that would mean get the original drivers from ACER / not updated drivers or the latest one you want the oldest ones

also this could be a codec issue

follow this link

download the program , this program checks your system for bad or broken codecs and replace them at the end of the install , it also has a program in it that resets all the codecs to default settings and gives you the ability to enable & disable codecs

check your system for infections / for their is infections that do this type of thing

their are several places that offer to scan your system for free and fix the issues or scan and fix your system for free or scan and fix your system for a small fee / just make sure its a reputable company like

Symantec , Panda Security , Trendmicro , Mcaffe, and several others

How do you know it is not your camera's display screen. Download pics to computer to verify. If you do not have a computer, take mem card to a retail photo Kiosk or counter; walmart, drugstores, etc.

If they are still white after reading card, and a pick file exists, then it is probably the Record Mode, pic taking mode, of the camera that is defective, of some setting out of whack.

Try removing the cam battery and reinstall after a 10 sec waiting time. This will reset the camera and put setting back to DEFAULT mfg settings.
