Re: unlock Nokia E62
Unlocking a Nokai E62 requires an unlock code. By default all these phones come with SIM locks, which you must disable. You can normally get a free unlock code by calling up your phone carrier and requesting one. They will want your IMEI number which you can attain by typing *#06#. Once you have your unlock code, use these Nokia E62 Unlock Instructions to unlock your phone using the unlock code. Good luck!
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Use this steps to unlock your mobile... 1 - Switch on your Nokia E51 without any sim card.

3 - Compose #pw+CODE+1#.
4 - The Nokia E51 would then display the message "SIM Restriction Off"
and will be unlocked!
When you place a new or a existing SIM card from another phone provider into your mobile phone and it asks for a Security code then :- This phone is locked to the original mobile phone provider. You need to contact this mobile provider to ask for the unlock code (security code) for this phone. You need to provide proof of ownership etc and the phone's unique IMEI number which is located inside the phone under the battery. They use this number to generate the unlock code for your phone. They should provide you with instructions on how to enter this code into the phone. Once you unlock the phone, then you can insert a new SIM card in this phone or sign up with another phone provider using this phone. You could ring the phone provider and ask for the unlock security code because you are going overseas and wish to use your phone with a prepaid SIM card from another country. This maybe a free service. The other way to get your phone unlock is to use a phone unlocking company on the Internet, they usually charge a couple of Dollars for their services.Use Google and search for "Security unlocking code” in your area. You can also try this WEB site. www.unlock-free.com/nokia-master
There are a couple of options for unlocking your phone. It's technically owned by you and you have a right to obtain the unlock code directly from the carrier, AT&T. However, they will put you through the ringer (no pun intended) to get it from them. If you're up for a battle, call them and ask for it. They will tell you it's not possible, but you can contact the VP Complain Specialist Office at 800-498-1912. You can avoid all of the hassle and order it through this company, http://unlocktelecom.co.uk/ - they charge about $20 and it's an easy work around to avoiding the hassle. Good luck.
You can either contact the service provider (if it's Cingular/AT&T, 800-498-1912) to obtain it or use a service that you will need to pay for. http://unlocktelecom.co.uk/ They will get your unlock code for you for about $20.
