I have a stubborn error on a HP CLJ 4600 series.
Keeps telling me that to replace the C print cartridge.
I've replaced it with any other cartridge in Diag mode but nothing changed, it prints without C position.
I've replaced: Mem antenna, Antenna controller, dc controller, HVPS, ETB, I even replaced the HVPS contacts to the Cartridge and to the ETB.
Any other sugestions?

I had the same problem and it was the pick-up roller that was at fault. You can buy a new one for less than 20GBP or do what I did. Take the old one out and reverse the rubber. There are plenty of online tutorials on how to change the pick-up roller - the first one you remove. It's a two minute job. Reversing the rubber is easy. Just prize the inner clip out of the roller and put the rubber back on with the shiny side out. It worked first time and no more print errors. If you mean toner, you can probably do it, but most new printers have a memory chip on the cartridge which keeps track of toner. Adding toner will not change the count and the printer will ignore the new toner
First step : Try to pull-out toner cartridge then shake it and insert again test print. if same problem appear. Second step : change new toner cartridge. third step : Try to contact HP service center. http://www.hp.com
Thank you for contacting FixYa with your printer inquiry.
This error is most common when your toner cartridge has reached it's end of life. Sometimes it will alternate with "This cartridge has reached a low threshold error" which indicates you can keep printing but need to order a new toner cartridge. See page 155 of your support manual for more on this error.
See page #117 of your user guide for toner installation instructions.
If you have installed a new toner cartridge and receive "Remove Shipping Lock Error" that means you have not removed the protective strip on page 118 step #5.
You can order new toner cartridge from HP PartSurfer or retail merchant where printer purchased.

Yes the HP CLJ 2600n printer will stop printing when a toner cartridge registers as empty. The cartridges will have to be replaced or You could use the "overide out" option. This allows continued printing even though the supply registers as empty. Beware that diagnosing print quality problems because of toner becomes more difficult.
To change this go to the PRINT QUALITY menu then REPLACE SUPPLIES and change the setting from "stop at out" to "overide out".
