I have a de.. printer 924. I need help getting it to print. Please e-mail me so I can get help on line

You either have to change the ink cartridge or try to clean the ink cartridge nozzles as described in the user manual;

On page 54 it states the following:

To clean the ink cartridge nozzles:
1 Load plain paper. For more information, see "Loading Paper" on page 19.
2 In Windows XP, click Start-Control Panel-Printers and Other Hardware-Printers and
Faxes.
In Windows 2000, click Start-Settings-Printers.
3 Right-click the Dell Photo AIO Printer 924 icon.
4 Click Printing Preferences.
The Printing Preferences dialog box opens.
5 Click the Maintenance tab.
6 Click Clean Print Cartridges.
7 If the print quality has not improved, click Print Again.
8 Print your document again to verify the improved print quality.
9 If you are not satisfied with the print quality, wipe the ink cartridge nozzles, and then print
your document again.

Thanks for using FixYa. This Printer is not compatible with Windows 7 and therefore it is not printing while connected to HP computer.

first , what r u trying to print ? a documnet /photo /email/ greeting ...?

*2 make sure the printer s working fine ., make a copy and it that comes out fine then the problem is with the file u r trying to print or as in most cases ., we need to reinstall the printer drivers .

You've got dead electronics. Since you bought off Ebay, I'm assuming you can't return them. Welcome to the wonderfully scandalous world of on-line ink refills. You need to get new refills or new Dell brand cartridges for your printer to print. I recommend Cartridge World stores for refills because they test the electronics on their cartridges before they are sold and with their 100% satisfaction guarantee getting replacements or a refund is easy.

Push menu on your printer, then fin maintainance. Then go to clean printer and push the green button. It will clean the cartridges for you and that should help. 

run a nozzle clean, perform the following steps:

1. Verify the All-In-One Printer 924 is powered on and connected to a computer.
2. Verify that the paper support (input tray) has clean, plain white paper loaded.
3. Press the Menu button.
4. Press the Down button until Mode: Maintenance appears on the LCD screen.
5. Press the Menu button.
   The Dell 924 Maintenance Menu appears on the LCD screen.
6. Press the Down button until Clean Cartridges appears on the LCD screen.
7. Press the Start button.
   The AIO 924 prints the cleaning page. This process cleans the ink cartridges and resolves many print quality issues.

GG88 your need to lubricate carrier bar inside printer rub your finger along the length of the bar if if feels dry apply two to three drops of 3in 1 oil to the bar with power off after lubricating the bar turn back on and happy printing

this is routine maintenace once a year
