The support site for that product is here http://www.harmankardon.com/EN-US/Products/Pages/ProductDetails.aspx?PID=AVR%20235&accT=0&tsT=1&ovT=1
I have looked at the rearpanel PDF link http://www.harmankardon.com/resources/Brands/harmankardon/Products/ProductRelatedDocuments/en-US/QuickStartGuide/AVR235rearpanel.pdf
and it appears to me to be all Analogue inputs - S-video, composite and component - information about each of those type of connections are available here http://www.ramelectronics.net/howto-av.ep and component maybe the best type as it can handle HD and would be the best quality of the analogue signals ..
BUT whats your make and model of the bluray player - does it have any analogue outputs, at all - otherwise you will need to convert the HDMI digitla signal to the analogue signal, which may be very expensive - as an example - I have NEVER USED THIS http://hdfury2.co.uk/hdfury2-p-9.html also something like this maybe cheaper http://www.tvcables.co.uk/cgi-bin/tvcables/hdmi-to-component-video-converter.html
BUT again NEVER used before

you will lose quality in conversion from HDMI to Analogue anyway, Theres seems to be a lot of debate about HDMI v Component if you search google - you can get 1080i over component and there is a proposal for 1080p according to this site http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Component_v... - seems like there are restrictions to getting 1080P see here http://www.avforums.com/forums/blu-ray-p... and here http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthrea...
So back to your question - you will have to convert to component from HDMI any way - so you may be better off just using the component output from the bluray player

I have a new Samsung BD-C6500 Bluray player. They recommend HDMI as the best connection, but it does have component analog signals. Won't I lose some of the signal quality?
