I was given a functioning machine without a manual. I hooked it to power and phone line and it worked. After trying to turn down the volume of ring and not being successful without the manual, I turned it off and moved it one room, then plugged it in again. Now it does not work in either room! How wonderful that anyone out there would care to help!

you might find that manual, through the Brother icon door here

better this case, than a functioning manual without a printer, no?
