I had the same issue. I had to install the drivers from the CD that came with the unit before my PC would see it. Also ensure that you have USB2.0 ports.

HAd another issue with this recently, as my kids computer was reloaded. Solution was to install the latest Windows Media Player software, evidently the MP3 player requires version 10 or newer? Wierd, but it worked.

My Sansa Clip 2GB MP3 player won't let me add any more songs to it, even though there's 1.26 GB still available. I don't want to reformat the player, cuz that'll delete the songs I already have on there. ...

Hi there..

When you say having difficulty in adding the songs in CLIP, though you have enough space. I'd kindly request you to check for the number of songs that you have added.

Because when you add as MP3 player by default its bit rate is 128kbps so you can add up to 500 songs only. Kindly have a check on it.

I have given the number of songs that can be added with related to size of MP3 player..

Size of the player :512MB 1GB 2GB 4GB 8GB 16GB 32GB
Number of songs : 125 250 500 1000 2000 4000 8000

Kindly revert if any clarifications....

HEy when i connect my sansa to pc it is charging... pc doesn't show this device..so i can't add song in it...So plz help..

you don't need drivers for this MP3 player, i own one, and you can put songs on it while it is charging, the issue is with the USB mode that the player is in. It has three settings for this. you can chhose between MTP, MSC, and auto detect. I have windows XP and for this i need to have it at MSC for it to work. You can changes this in the settings menu of the player, if you scroll all the way down to the bottom of the list.

"No Song" displayed even though music has been loaded, many times

The songs ripped from CD are not in the right format. In Windows Media Player, highlight the Rip tab, click the black arrow under the Rip tab, select Rip Options --> Format --> Mp3. Now, re-rip the songs. Before you transfer these tracks to the player, make sure you delete the tracks that are on the mp3 player now, or else Windows Media Player wil ltell you that the tracks are already there. Now, transfer the newly-ripped Mp3 tracks to your Sansa. Should be good to go.

Sansa Clip 2gb only plays parts of songs

The songs you have loaded have a restrictive license on them that only allows full playback on a computer, not on an mp3 player. If you only download songs in mp3 format, you will never have this problem.

Delete songs/memory

What I had to do was go on Windows Media Player (the program I use to get the songs on the mp3) and there was a file for my sansa and i just clicked on playlist. Try connecting your Mp3 and go to the program you use.

Sansa m250 2GB file adding problems

Can't create directories directly on the m250. I've got about 1000 songs loaded (already broken into subdirectories) that take up 800 MB and the device claims that it's full. (Firmware is also updated to 4.1.08A)

Sandisk sansa c200(2gb)

Do you use windows media player 10 or 11 to sync music into the mp3 player? and have you updated firmware? Go to sansa.com and download a firmware updater and then try formatting the mp3 player, use WM and click on the arrow below sync and go to format.
