Ahh..you are experiencing the early vestiges of lcd failure..that usually is caused by the ribbon cable/board combination inside the lcd case..

you under warranty? if not, then it's not too tough to change..just be careful when taking the plastic bezel off the lcd..

The world is upside down, the king has lost his crown, don't laugh please, my monitor screen suddenly got upside down.

Rotating the screen image is a feature of the graphics card and is normally caused by accidentally pressing a combination of keys. To correct it, hold down Ctrl and Alt and press one of the four arrow keys (up, down, left or right) until you have it the correct way up.

As your screen is completely upside down, hold down Ctrl and Alt and press the Up arrow key.

Alternatively, you probably have a Rotation setting in the display properties of the graphics card. You should be able to reach your graphic card settings, but reading and setting them properly may be difficult since everything you see on the screen is upside down until it's fixed.

If all else fails, try restoring the system to an earlier date when the display was right. This will reset the driver to its proper orientation.

The top part (about one third) of my SyncMaster 920LM screen is brighter than the rest and seems to retain simultaneously the new and the previous picture for 2 to 3 seconds before it gradually fades out...

This is usually do to a section of your controller chips dying. This is not fixable by the end user, the only thing I could say to try is to try different resolutions to see if you can reduce the issue.

I have a gateway FPD1975W monitor with a Gateway GT5482E computer. The monitor does not display the computer output - the blue power light blinks off and on steadily and every so often the monitor says...

From your description you have a power supply problem, usually caused by defective capacitors, sometimes they will bulge at the top indicating an open condition. If you decide to repair check the inverter board that powers the back lights behind the screen, because they are also prone to bad caps.

My dell 1525 has a blank screen it has happened before I had to take out the battery, then replace and hold down either fn key and a letter or the shift key and a letter. Can you help?

Press the "FN" and "F8" keys at the same time.
Pressing the keys each time has a diferent result.
One time- display is on external monitor
second time: display is on both laptop and ext. monitor.
third time - back to laptop.

Note::
Check for cracks along the LCD screen.the 1525 top is too soft, and flexible. The rubber bumpers are spaced too far apart, causing the lid to flex when closed ...cracking the edge of the LED board. Even with lightest pressure it would be possible for this to happen.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response

Thanks, Joe

so if you barrow and other display does it work ok?
it has 2 cable (not power) one is DVI other is VGA
which one are you using.

ok i see your confusiong
yes, the monitor has its one menu's and the bad designers
dont tell you that, all pop up windows need to say who is talking to you in this case "F2105" is not in the window.
geeks design it and this is what you get.
even windows 10 does this inane acts,, it pops up
and forget to say , I'm W10, only the blue color dark is the clue)
so dont feel bad, its the lame geek disease there.
what does this mean
that you need o learn the buttons on your monitor

Switch from Analog to Digital

To move to Digital (you need to have a DVI cable for this)

I'm using the monitor now and typing these instructions Mine is a HW191D Silver:

Button Layout:

(1) Menu
(2) Auto Adjust (does nothing when in digital mode)
(3) Move up in menus
(4) Move down in menus
(5) Power

Press the Top (1) button to display the OSD Main Menu

The Press the button Next to the Bottom (4) twice (Input Setting should be highlighted)

Press the Top button (1) once to allow you to select between Analog and Digital (use the button next to the bottom (4) to select between the two)

Press the Top button (1) and it will change to the input that you selected.

If you selected Digital and you don't have a DVI cable connected, the display will go black and then return to Analog (VGA)

(1)(4)(4)(1)(4)(1)

I hope that helps
