Question about Intel Pentium 4 1.7G, 1.7 GHz (p41700400256sk478) Processor
When i defragment my computer there's ab error in defragmenting that say's windows cannot defragment this drive now because it has been locked by a disk utility, quit any utilitites that may have locked this drive and try defrasmenting again. what does it mean? and what should i do to proceed in defragmentation?
Defragment the drive while in Safe Mode. To enter Safe Mode restart your computer. When it's restarting (about 2 seconds after the shutdown has finished) repeatedly press the F8 key on your keyboard. After a few seconds this will cause a display to appear on your monitor screen which offers several choices for booting up. Use the Up or Down arrow keys on your keyboard to highlight "Start in safe mode" then hit the Enter/Return key to select that startup option. After 15 or 20 seconds Windows will load and your display screen will ask if you want Safe Mode or to use System Restore. Choose to continue in Safe Mode. After several more seconds it will be fully loaded. Now run Defragmenter.

What operating system are you using? Screen-savers sometimes cause problems with defrag, so try shutting off your screen-saver...if you're using one.
