Un-install program, restart PC than re-install program. That usually works for software issues.
Possible file corruption. Wouldn't hurt to run a virus scan of the entire system. ( is your virus scanner up to date?)

Good Luck & Kind Regards.

Maybe you use word perfact more than any other program. It could be the PC is just freezing. Run check disk than run defrag.

My dell precision 390 keeps freezing

Please restart the computer and while it is booting enter into safe mode by pressing f8 repeatedly. It will eventually it will ask you to enter safe mode. Enter safe mode option(not with networking or anything else) log back in. See if the computer freezes at this point. If it does not freeze after being on for an extended period it is more then likely a bad windows install or a virus. If it does the same thing we could be talking hard ware issues.

Dell 8200 beeps 10 times monitor won't come on says power saving mode

Hi
Remove the sound card and blow the slot with dry air to rid off dust.
Examine it to make sure nothing's damaged and fix it again.
Checkout the RAM's.Probably remove them, wipe the slots off dust and fix them again.Make sure they're well seated on their slots.

Hi,
There maybe several explanations for the freeze ups,but I think the major one lies with your internet services connections.Whats the speed of the connection? How's the networks availability?Try this and see what happens:-
  • Uninstall and reinstall the browser[firefox]
  • Set firefox as the default browser. If still freezes;-
  • Choose another network for the internet connections.
Hope this helps.Thanks!

Monitor randomly goes to sleep

Sounds like it may be a backlight issue. Try using another monitor if possible and see if the same issue occurs. If it does, then it's the backlight in the monitor. If it's not this, it could be as bibleman01 mentioned a software conflict or an issue with the graphics controller failing.

Computer freezes after about 10 mins !

It is possible the power supply is now too small for the number of loads you now have. Not sure what your CPU is ,but I bet it is 80 watts just by itself. The minimum wattage requirement or the video card by itself is 300 watts.Add the drives, ram, fans and mobo and you way underpowered.
