Please help i have a Zoom MRS1044 multitrak recording studio and it says IntHDD error... i dont know what to do

It has a HDD(hard disk drive) error. The only cure may be to reformat the drive. Have you tried this? Get back to me here please:)

I have a h4n recorder,im recording in mtr mode but want to put 2 things on a track eg track 1 vocals plus record harmony as well on the one track,so in theory i can have up to 8 different instruments on 4...

Zoom H4: 1. the USB connection no longer works; computer does not detect the recorder. 2. the 1st input is too loud and distorted, so I cannot record through both simultaneously, as input one...


If you are using a Mac and have Leopard (sys 10.5) You need to upgrade firmware on the H4 from Zoom website

You will need an external SD card reader.

Most probably the record play switching causing the problem. It is the long switch that is connected to the transport, and switches when you engage record. Flooding this switch with CRC 2-26 usually cures the symptoms you have. Just be careful not to get ahy near the transport:) Check it out and get back to me here is it does not sort out the problem. get straight into protools. it is worth learning in the long run, and most studios operate on it also. you can take you tracks into a studio then to work them up more. It is great software for editing audio and so on and sounds great. there are heaps of quick start guides on line to use it also. check here. If you are serious about your tunes... then just get into it and learn Pro Tools. It worthwhile
