Question about Westell Wirespeed VersaLink (A99-327W11-00) Router (A99327W1100)
I have purchased a new laptop and do not have the number for the westell I've been using in my home. It will not connect without it....how do I get this number and where? Please help if possible
Hello, All router are set up with a default address to access the settings. Usually it is 192.168.1.1 If this is not it, google the mfg and model number and default address after it. Example: "d-link 12345 default address" This should give you links to someone that's had the same problem and has listed their default address. Hope this helps.

The WEP key for 2 wire router is found on the sticker on bottom of the router. Look for set of numbers enclosed in a bracket right below the bar code.
if it not working you need to access the modem interface to locate the wep key.
Open a web browser, and navigate to the Westell interface by typing
192.168.1.254 into your address bar.
From the Home Summary page, click on the link for Wireless at the top.
The Network Name (SSID) is visible here, as well as the WEP, WPA, or WPA2-PSK (Wireless Security) key that is being used.
Hope this answers all your questions
