Question about Cameras
Does your camera have a removable memory card? (SD card, SecureDigital, CompactFlash, etc). If so, you can get a card reader at an office supply or computer store for 10 or 15 bucks that will plug into your computer's USB port. I bought one for ~$13 at office max that will read just about every digital camera memory type known to man.
Using software like Google's Picasa (www.picasa.com) or iPhoto for Macintosh makes importing photos from memory cards this way a breeze.
