My laptop won't turn on even though it's plugged into the recharg

My battery was low on my Toshiba laptop, so I plugged in the recharger. As I did so, my computer died, even though I thought my battery was at 20%. Now my laptop won't turn on even though it's plugged into the recharger. What should I do?

Try removing the battery and running the laptop just on the p/s. If it works like this the battery is dead. Otherwise the laptop has a problem.

If the battery is dead, buy a new battery or run it on p/s alone.

Laptops should be run on battery alone as much as possible, or the battery dies.

Toshiba laptop p855 battery wear started increasing

Yep, BATTERIES begin to die... from the moment they are made... even while they are "new" sitting on a shelf somewhere... it's called "shelf life". Maybe the exception is a 'wet' battery where the ACID is added at the last moment before use?

Also MANY/MOST rechargeable batteries can be seriously DAMAGED with a TOTAL discharge... In most cases batteries HATE that event and will punish you with "memories"!

Even ONE incident MAY severely cripple your recharge abilities and this is especially true with cheaper batteries with poor chemistry inside. Understand this is NOT to say more expensive batteries are bullet proof.

A few rechargeable batteries LIKE to be thoroughly "exercised" and a "deep cycle" car or RV battery is the best example of that, but even a deep cycle has it's discharge limits!

SO... when you get your first "LOW BATTERY" alert take it VERY seriously... end your session as soon as possible and bring your Frankenstein back to life again and again.

See this link for GREAT battery insight and assure a long life. Trust me, this topic is not fiction or fable.

Despite of new battery my Asus PRO50 won't charge a 100%

Is it a replacement battery? Are the specs the EXACT match, DC volts and Amps? Some inexpensive batteries do not work well with your laptop, it's a Connector/ pin thing, they don't communicate with the laptop. Try pulling the plug and drain the battery and recharge. Cycle it a 4 times, drain/ recharge. Does your BIOS setup have a Battery Learning section?

Toshiba satellite l305d-s5934 Won't charge battery dont power On

POWER SUPPLY & BATTERY PROBLEM
If the laptop battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced. Rechargeable batteries will fail if stored in a discharged state for long periods.

Toshiba satellite M55 not turning on

Either the battery is faulty, or the charger is faulty.
Check the fuse in the mains plug, or even the power point you are using could have a bad connection.
Test using a lamp that you know works or a radio or something and try the charger in another outlet to find the fault.

No worries, thanks for getting back to me. Another questions for you. What sort of batteries are you using. Are they rechargeable, alkaline, carbon zinc, or the Sennheiser BA 2015 accupack rechargeable.
