You need an AGP graphics card. Preferably 8x. These are getting difficult to find now as the interface has been replaced (in general use) by the PCI-E standard. Hope this helps.

You need to make sure the card is compatible with your laptop, and that it fits. If you have a card that fits these conditions then fit it and install the drivers. But the card must go in the correct slot.

Can not find instructions to use the card reader!

G'day mate, I'm not 100% sure but some of the cards such as the MemoryStick Duo come with card reader jackets. The jackets look like memory sticks that have been hollowed out. You place your Memory stick inside the jacket then slide it into the card reader. I had the same problem trying to read a memory stick duo in a PC's card reader but it always seemed way too loose. I can't guarantee anything but have a go and see what happens, the worst is nothing will happen, lol.

Printer problem

Hi corgee, you can't copy images off the SD card unless your printer is connected to the PC.
If you still want to have access to your SD card & not use the printer you can buy a SD card reader for as little as $5.00. Your card reader would plug right into a free USB port.

Cannon Pixma 1600

Recheck that the ink is correctly inserted & protective tap has been removed. ( may sound lame but it is the most common problem). It would not be uncommon for the new cartridge right out of the box is also defective. Return & replace.
