The codes are not for the Saab but for the radio.
You need to take the radio to a dealer of that brand of radio. There is not just one brand that can be installed by Saab. a Saab dealer can help, but none of us can, because each radio has its own code. But a dealer has the tools to reset it.
But the problem is that each and every radio is given its own unique code.
So no one else can give you their code. It would not work.
What the Saab dealer and any dealer who sells that type of radio can do, is program it for a different code, and then tell you what the new one is.
That is the theft protection part.
That gives them an opportunity to verify ownership.
If anyone could give you a code that worked, then there would be no theft protection.
But since they should have written the code down on the owners manual, they will give you a new code for free. They are not supposed to charge for the service.
