Open door then turn off power. Undo 3 bolts around door seal. Remove soap draw. Undo the screws. Peel off door seal at front of machine and fold in towards drum. Metal spring catch located at bottom behind pump filter door. Now open up front of machine (its hinged on the right). Good luck
Hi
Main wash is a fault indicator. The is a problem within the heater circuit, NTC, element, relay or loose wire. You will have to open front and check.
Remove 3 screw around dispenser and 3 10mm bolt around door. disconnect hose by drain pump and front of machine will open like a door.
OF COURSE YOU CAN CHANGE IT YOURSELF, IF YOU HAVE PATIENCE. If you are very machanical, you should be ok, but if not, then you will want a 2nd person for help holding the frame anf glass window ,etcetera because it is tricky getting the seal and glass and frame and screws all together. Depending on the model, you may want to remove the door from the washer to handle it better, but on other models it is better to leave the door frame attached to give you a 3rd hand while you are contending with the the other parts. Good luck. Macgivor
There is a solenoid that opens the door to the dispenser. You can check it with a volt/ohm meter. Sometimes large dishes can block the door keeping it from opening. I personally know on some Whirlpool washers (because it was mine) that if the bottom drawer is put in backwards, it wont let the door open. When I opened the main door, then the dispenser would flop open. You need a meter to check this part if its not the other things. Without it, you are just guessing.
