If your camera has a usb cable ,you can transfer your pictures to your pc.all you have to do is just connect your camera to your pc,using the usb cable, then copy and paste to your picture folder.

Dropped my Nikon d3100 now pictures are coming out black is that because there is damage to the lens or the camera itself? Can it be fixed?

Yes and probably.
There apparently is damage to either the lens or the camera, most likely the camera. Though without being able to see any pictures damage to the lens is also possible.
If you can't see the menu when you press the MENU button then the damage may be restricted to the LCD screen. If the photos are black when viewed on a computer then the damage may involve the sensor. Without having an authorized Nikon repair shop take a look at it, it's impossible to know just what is damaged. And without knowing that, it's impossible to tell whether it can be fixed, and how much it would cost.

How to easily download Pictures from Digital Camera

Many people are having trouble downloading the digital pictures that they take on their digital cameras to their computer. This can be a very simple procedure by doing things just a bit differently then most of the digital camera instructions tell you to do it.

I seems that every digital camera manufacturer wants you to download your pictures by hooking the digital camera to the computer through some type of a wire. While this will work for many cases, the digital camera then also causes your computer to download or have you install other drivers that can be unstable and load your computer up with more stuff, that just causes it to run slower. There is a very simple way to avoid all of the problems and very easily download your pictures.

The first thing that you need to do is to find out what type of media card your camera saves the digital images on. Some cameras use a media card or stick that is brand specific, but many digital cameras are now using a simple SD Card to store the pictures on. No matter what form your camera uses there are card readers that can read the card without it being in the digital camera. By removing this card and installing it directly into a card reader in your computer you can easily access the pictures without all of the other problems.

Many newer computers are installing a number of different card readers directly into the computer. If you have the correct reader installed in your computer already then just insert the card into the reader and then if the card does not show up, just look for it in your start menu under "computer". It will be visible under the "removable storage" devices in the menu.

If you do not have a card reader installed in your computer, you are still okay. You can purchase a card reader for your specific card easily. They are readily available and do not cost very much. I use an SD Card reader that looks like this.

I also use a separate USB Adapter so that I can plug many USB devices into my computer even though I do not have enough USB Ports in my computer to handle all of them at one time. Do not worry, the computer will still recognize them all and you can still access them all easily.

Once you have the card reader plugged into your computer, then just insert the card into the USB card reader and then go to your computers start menu. Find the "computer" and click on it. Then find the card reader under "removable storage devices" and click on it. Then follow through clicking on the prompts till you start to see you pictures being loaded. You can then just delete, copy or move the pictures just as you would any other file on your computer.

One last thing to remember. If you are having trouble accessing the digital pictures or removing them from the card, make sure that the card is not "locked". If you look closely at this picture, you can see the word "lock" and an arrow. If the little tab on the side of the card gets pushed towards the "lock" position you will not be able to do anything with the digital pictures on the card. Move the tab to the forward position "unlocked" and you will be able to do what you want to do.

This will give you an easier way to download your digital pictures without all of the problems that the camera drivers will give you. You will eliminate many potential problem spots by doing it this way and it will work just as well for you!

My nikon coolpix s3000 wont download pictures to my computer

Hi

I used to have a very similar problem with mien, I couldn't download the pics from the camera. The problem was in the camera that the computer didn't recognize it.

The solution that worked for me was the following.
I bought a card reader ( a cheap one cost around 10$ US)
when I used the card reader
with the camera card I could access the pics without any problem and transfer them as easy as earlier.
if you find a solution to the problem please post it here
Thanks

Can you use dc325 without the internet I want to go places and take pictures and not have to have it hooked up to my computer can this model do that?

This is an extremely cheap and poorly made camera with no option to use a memory card. In order to see your pics, you must connect the camera to your computer( I don't know what you mean by the "internet"...you don't need to be connected to it). If you want to enjoy the full digital camera experience, you need to buy a camera costing at a minimum of $150.

I took a picture wihtout a CF card in the camera

When you take pictures without the internal card , they get stored inside the camera internal memory (usually 8 or 16 MB only).

Connect the camera to a computer using a data cable, without putting any memory card inside the camera. The camera internal memory will be displayed as a new external usb disk on computer.

Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-S500 Digital Camera Problem

Ok there are two possible answers to your problem. First and cheapest, go to Sony's website and purchase the CD directly from them. It only costs 5 bucks, and it can be nice to have around. Here is a link, http://servicesales.sel.sony.com/web/productSearch.do?searchOperation=partSearch&searchText=269613001 Secondly, you can purchase a Memory Stick reader($10) to plug into your USB port to unload the pictures without having to have the Sony's Software. Here is and example, http://www.officemax.com/max/solutions/product/prodBlock.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&prodBlockOID=1611482402&expansionOID=-536879947 Hope this helps.
