Generic problem for all Vacuums

I have an electrolux cyclone 1900 watt which has lost all of its suction, its not picking up properly...I only brought it 5 months ago but can't find the reciept...so am unable to get an exchange. I've tried to change the filer but the problem persists. Any suggestions?

GuruIt has to have a clog somewhere, either in the hose, or down by the brush roll, the dirt inlet may be clogged. But am sure you have warranty on it, contact the company or your salesman to see where you can take it for warrenty service.
