Question about RCA 20F420T 20" TV

1 Answer

How to exit service menu

I entered the service menu by pressing and holding ' VOL - ' On the TV then pressing ' INFO/DEL ' on my remote.

I now cant figure out how to exit this menu. I saw something in a PDF online that said to exit the service menu 'press the D-Mode on/off key to exit menu'. I have the small remote that came with the TV and it does not have this key. Do I need to find a RCA remote with this key?

              -Thanks

The problem came from resetting the values to factory by accidentally pressing 'Notepad' .. After turning the string for factory mode off I can now exit the service menu by turning the TV on and OFF.

Can you elaborate on how you solved the problem? You didn't specify which string was the "Factory Mode" string, and which value is "off".
