Hey Kathy,

The Speakerphone can be turned on and off by holding down the smart key (the side button next to the volume buttons).

With the flip open, press and hold the smart key until it displays speakerphone off (or on if it was off before).

Hope this helps!

How do I turn speaker phone

    • 1 Press the green "Phone" key on the main screen of your iPhone. This key has a silhouette of a traditional hand receiver and is located on the bottom part of the screen.
    • 2 Begin to use your speakerphone by making a call or accepting a call from other participants. You can make a call by going to your "Contacts" list or activating the keyboard and dialing a number. Incoming phone calls can be accepted by pressing the "Accept" key underneath the caller ID.
    • 3 Activate the "Speaker" function on your iPhone when you are ready to use your speakerphone. This button is located above the caller's information and allows you to switch on and off with one tap of your finger.
    • 4 Put participants on hold while you use your iPhone speakerphone. There is a "Hold" key at the bottom of the calling screen that lets you speak to people without bringing callers into the conversation.
    • 5 Access your contact information over the Internet while you use your speakerphone. You can reach the main page of your iPhone by pressing the "Home" button if you are on hold. The iPhone does not allow you to play music or use other audio options while on hold because you are still on the phone.
    • 6 Adjust the volume level before you begin a conference using your speakerphone. There are volume buttons on the side of the iPhone that provide detailed control over speaker sound levels.
    • 7 Mute the speakerphone if you must leave your office or take a break from a conversation. The "Mute" key is available on the call screen and instantly cuts off your microphone and the speaker.
    • 8 Add new contacts to your iPhone that you have called on your speakerphone. You can go back to your "Recent Calls" list or the keyboard to find numbers to add to your "Contacts" list.

My jabra sp700 wont turn on

You've probably accidentally put it in locking mode. Here's what the manual says about it, and how to get out of it:

Locking mode

To prevent accidental key presses that could turn your speakerphone

on e.g. while carrying it in a bag, the speakerphone can be

turned into locking mode. Press simultaneously the Answer/End

button and FM button for 4 seconds while the speakerphone is

turned on. The speakerphone is now turned off and can only be

turned on again by pressing Answer/End button and FM button
simultaneously for 2 seconds.

How do i turn off the speaker on motorola razr v3c

The speakerphone remains on until you press the smart/speakerphone key again or turn off the phone. You will see Spkrphone Off.
You can also set your phone to turn off the
speakerphone automatically after 20 seconds of inactivity:
Press the center key > wSettings > Initial Setup> SpeakerPhone > 20 sec timeout
Also The handsfree speaker is disabled when you connect your phone to a handsfree car kit or headset accessory.

Speakerphone is on when I turn the phone on

You could try breaking the phone... pretty sure the speaker will stay off for good... depending on where you live you should probably be able to find some rocks nearby... for which you can simply insert quite quickly into the screen... Also... if by some obscure chance you happen to have some water in your house, you can just mix the water with the phone... and presto no more speakerphone problem!

Speakerphone

While the phone is on and open it should say "speaker" in blue above the button on the right. When you push that button it should turn speakerphone off. And if you have hung up the phone it should automatically turn off until you turn it on again.
