Multimedia audio controller driver will not install It loads the realtek driver then restarts the pc

IE: Motherboard name sound drivers.

Place a tick in either windows software or all software box.

You might have to try a few times to get it right.

right click on the red X icon select playback devices there will be a red x on the speakers right click configure them

check the series, is it really require realtek? because the driver doesn't depends on the windows XP, but the type, model and series of motherboard or chipset brand.... anyway, realtek doesnt written on the device manager, check to your control panel - sound and audio device, is all enabled?or does any volume elements are muted..

i install audio driver but not able to control volume and saw in taskmanager that a yellow mark is on multimedia audio controller .then i install this HD audio drver from realtek at it is working.

is there any other way to solve the audio problem? after i install win xp sp3 in my acer aspire 5550,i get stuck in installing audio driver.i have download the driver from many website even in acer.com, but still cant solve it..please give me some idea..
