Question about Computers & Internet
Hp Pavilion X1983
If you made the recovery disc's when you first purchased the pc, use them.
If it has a recovery partition on the hard drive all you need to do is hit what ever key it says on the screen when booting up (turning on) sometimes its F11,to start the recovery back to its initial purchased state,
then follow any directions it gives,it may ask if you want a destructive recovery,or not ,distructive means the hard drive will be formatted and ever thing that's on it will be wiped of,
non destructive will only re install the operating system and drivers, and should keep all your programs.
