Question about Xerox Phaser 7300DN Laser Printer
Sounds like you have had a fuser roll failure.
Could be either the heat or pressure roll failure from your description.
That is an easy replacement. You can call 1-800-835-6100 and order one. It is on the left side of the machine, The area that is very hot. It has 2 thumb screws to remove and replace it. Only issue would be, the fuser has a replacement count on it that needs the proper laptop hooked up to it to reset the count. Although it will not fail to run without the count reset, once the fuser count reaches 100,000 images in the counter, it will shut the machine down until it is reset.
