Question about Xerox DocuColor 12 Color Copier
Has stapling "error" - however, it is not allowing me to print - it has
shut down the machine. I don't want to staple so is there any way
to override the error in order to print?
I have a DocuColor 240 - not listed but hope you can help anyway
The only thing I can tell you to do is turn off the machine. On the back of the finisher, unplug the finisher from the processor and power up the machine, it will reconfigure, plug and play like, and send the pages to the center tray.
Once you do that. Go into machine status and into faults. Print out a fault page and tell me the finisher/stapler code coming up so I can let you know exactly whats going on.
I hate that software puts a machine down for functions you do not 100 percent need.
