Hi Steve,
Sorry...I got out of television repair before ever working on projection screen sets, so I have no idea.
I know there should be three tubes, one for each primary color, but I don't know if there is some way to discharge all at one time, or individually.
If Fixya has me listed as a projection tv expert, then I apologise, I am going to check that now.
