Tried to listen to cd and driver stopped working to run DVD. Got code (10) on HP laptop in device manager and when down load new driver says driver is fine.
-   Hi all and thank you so much for all of the great solutions, but I'm afraid that I am having the same issues. I have tried deleting both the lower and upper filters and my optical drive still won't work. Does anyone have a new solution for this problem? Any help and/or suggestions are greatly appriciated. Thank you all in advance.
-   I am glad it isn't just me. I have an HP Pavilion dc6000 laptop. I can't remember when my drive worked last. I have looked all over the Pioneer website - useless. I have tried disabling, uninstalling, rebooting - nothing works. It says that the driver is updated properly on one place, but then says that it cannot load the driver (code 10).
Any thoughts??-   wklangdon
