First thing first is to focus. All you need to do is to enter "regedit" after clicking Start >> RUN. Under REGISTRY EDITOR screen click on "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Control > Class >{4D36E965-E325-``CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}. Please highlight "{4D36E965-E325-``CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}" and then on the right pane of the window/Registry Editor, you can see either Lowerfilters and Upperfilters. From then all you need to do is to highlight and then make a "RIGHT CLICK" from the mouse and select for "DELETE" option. After deleting either Lowerfilters and Upperfilters just exit out from Registry Editor screen and shutdown your laptop. Then after 1 minute have to turn it back on then retry checking if it ables to shows up your OPTICAL DRIVE or not. Thank you.

Acer dvd driver missing acer ferrari 400 dvd uj-845-c

CD/DVD drive drivers are Operating System generic drivers and need not to be installed explicitly. The CD/DVD drive drivers are installed along with the Operating System and can be reinstalled automatically at next restart, if missing.

Check in the Device Manager under the "CD/DVD drive" category if there is any device listed there and having exclamation mark. If there is any exclamation mark visible beside the CD/DVD drive name then right click on it and restart the Computer.

Restarting the Computer will reinstall the CD/DVD drive driver thus causing it to work normally.
