Sand under screen of RAZR V3

A fine dust or sand has gotten under my screen making it impossible to see the screen in daylight. Is there a way to take the cover off and clean out this dust?

Shoels,
You could replace the screen and glass lens/cover but I having done this procedure a few times, don't think it's worth it as the Razr is a fragile phone and the case's just snap fit together.
There are cell phone repair shops (depending where you are located) that will replace both the screen and glass cover for a fee.
I personally would just look for a shady spot to view my display in daylight, as the V3 isn't worth the trouble/expense to repair (in my humble opinion of course).
Good luck

PS: As for cleaning the lens, yes. As for cleaning the screen/display, no as you'll only make it worse. Again, IMHO.

Something under screen looks like lint or something . took it to at&t where i bought it . they said they couldn't fix it. the little specs make the screen look dirty

THE INSIDE SCREEN ON THE V3 IS ACTUALLY MADE OF A SOFT FLEXIBLE PLASTIC. YOU CAN REMOVE THE GLASS WITH SOMETHING AS SMALL AS A FINGERNAIL. BLOW IT OUT AND STICK IT BACK ON.

You're LCD is broken. You've gotten a crack in it and the Liquid Crystals are bleading out of it.

Try making sure the connection points for the sim are clean. After taking the sim out, gently but firmly blow into the area to dislodge any dust. Put the sim back in and cross your fingers.

Dust behind the Screen

you can open the screen cover of your v3. if you have screws drivers thats fits the screws you can open it.
to open it, at the screen of your v3, theirs a 4 little rubbers. remove the rubber (be sure to secure it cause when it drops you have a hardtime finding it) and beneath it are the screws. after talking it off, you can now open the screen. just locate the clips to separate the screen.
no need to open the other side only the screen part...

Dirt under screen

if you look on the side of your phone you will see a whole on each side toward the front of your LCD. This is where the dirt is getting in. The best way's to cover them are a snap over protective case(there is a billion online for cheap) or a shuttle case. Otherwise email me at madnessrepairs@hotmail.com and I can give you a guide to cleaning out the entire phone. This should be left to a professional but the last case I ran into got charged almost seventy bucks for something my company does for $5. It can be done by beginners but BE CAREFULL,
