Question about JVC GR-D20EK Camcorder
The camcorder (JVC GR D74) worked fine, I didn't use it for a few months, and today it does not record. I did reset the camera, checked all the settings, etc. Last time I used it for dubbing analog tapes to digital and in order to that I needed to switch to S/AV mode (page 28 in the manual). But this I switched off again. The screen is dark, it says lens cap (which is removed), a picture on the bottom flashes, which looks like portrait and landscape mode (don't know how it got there and can't get it off), it records sound, it plays back tapes, but does not record video.
Firstly check if a/v mode is on ..in or..out.If it is on out then your ccd image sensor is faulty.
