Toshiba 52" trouble (by 2 users)

I have a Toshiba 52" bought in 2001. At this time, the screen is divided into 3 identical sections with vertical white lines, then there are small white horizontil lines in each of the 3 sections covering the entire screen. Help!

i have no picture no sound i have power power on the tv but no picture or sound appears
