what does this mean please? How can I cure it?

RICOH Aficio 1013 Code sc551 shown : "Functional problems" Message recommends switching off power and switching on again, but this is not effective. How can this be fixed ? The machine is not overheating. info@bbl.uk.com

I have the same problem.

Ok, its a firmware bug, but you should be able to reset it. Press clear modes, 1, 0, 7, and press and hold clear/stop. Press 1 for copy sp. Scroll down to 7, (data log) press 7. scroll to 7807, and reset it. exit all the way out, and recycle the power.
