There are several things that come into play here. The first thing I would try would be to change the print options in Publisher to print full resolution:

  1. On the File menu, click Print.
  2. In the Print dialog box, click Advanced Print Settings, and then click the Graphics and Fonts tab.
  3. Under Graphics, select Print full-resolution linked graphics, and then click OK.
  4. In the Print dialog box, click OK.
Hope this helps!

I am not 100% certain but I am not sure you can use that old a Adobe version with Win 7. The current Adobe Pro for creating .pdf files is now version 9 for Win 7. That may be part of your problem. Consult the Adobe website and see if that older version will even run in Win 7

Ms. L,
Not sure if you're still using this forum but i may have a solution for you.
Granted you still have the keygen for final draft from your pc, here are the steps:
1. Download final draft 7 demo on your mac 2. manually activate the product using your code generator from the pc 3. Voila!

I replaced a older pdf with newer one sent by client .when tested in live site then it gives error message Acrobat may not display the page correctly .Please contact the person who created the PDF document...

all over the world the compatibility issue works higher up and not loswer down...i.e.
if you have created a doc in MS Word 2003 then you can open it in Word2007 and not the other way...
in the similar way a PDF doc created in Adobe Acrobat 7 cannot be viewed in the lower version

Cannot compress a PDF

I assume you have tried the "reduce filesize" command. Try opening the file in Preview and print it - in the print dialog box select the pdf button, type a name and print. You get a file in the location you selected. This can reduce the size considerably.

Cannot Create PDF from Word Document Using Adobe Professional 6.0

You can try to create PDF file directly from Microsoft Word. Adobe Acrobat Professional installs a virtual printer on your computer. Print the document from Microsoft Word, but make sure you select appropriate printer from the list. It should be called "Adobe Acrobat PDF Printer", or similar.
