Question about Digisette DUO-64 (64 MB) MP3 Player

Open Question

My computer doesn't recognise the DUO-64

Hello, I installed the DUO Manager + Voice software onto my new computer and when I plugged in the DUO-64 the Found New Hardware wizard ran but was unable to find drivers, not even with the manufacturer's (software) CD in the player. After that I ran the program and it does not recognize the player.
I have tried googling Digisette but their website seems to no longer exist, and I can't find anything else that works.

Please help if you can. Thank you,
John Andruchow

Hi,I hve the same problem.I actually installed the software on my work laptop and the digisette is working without problems.I suspect there is some other software that causes the problem but haven't figured out which..

Thanks Rote. I get the same problem on both my work computer and my home PC. I think it's the operating system - WindowsXP.

SOURCE: We have had our DUO-DX

Hi,
The drivers do not display the device on Windows, only through the DUO manager program, or if you install Windows Media Player plugin for it, or through Audible's device manager. I have the install files which I used to get the right driver downloaded from Driversguide.com, and I can email them to you. (Going through Driversguide is a real pain...)
I also NEED the manual, which I beleive is a PDF on the CD. Can you send that to me?

Media Manager is just the software that allows you to sync, the MP3 player should still show up as a Removable Disk drive under 'My Computer'. If not, check your connections, something should also appear on the MP3 player screen when connected to the computer.

Cant download music on my mp3

Hello,

Hello, for media transfers onto the MP705 you can use either Coby Media Manager software or Windows Media Player 11.
(For fitting video, use the Video Converter software on a computer first.)
Manual for the MP705.

0. Install and update software for transfers on the computer.
1. Open the software program and connect the USB cable between the
player and the computer, to get the device detected in the software.
2. Create a playlist in the software.
3. Synchronize the playlist.

How to use the software Coby Media Manager or WMP 11, look in the Setup Guide.

If this was helpful or when needing more help, I'd appreciate your comment.

My laptop is not recognising my Creative Zen touch MP3

Try this, i used this for my sansa, but the problem you are having is very similar.

Start - (right click)my computer - manage - device manager

It should be under "Other Devices" Right click - Update driver - Yes this time only - Install software automatically

Away you go, should recognize it as a portable device and install the drivers for it correctly.

Hi,
I am assuming you are a new user with your ipod.
You can play and view your music on the ipod only if you transfer the files thru itunes.
You can go to the apple website or download.com and download itunes.
After downloading it.Install the software and add your music onto your ipod through itunes.
Now your ipod will recognise all the songs you add.
IT WILL WORK.HAVE FUN.
and if i helped u solve ur problem in any way...please help me by clicking on the fixya rating..
thank you.

Computer dose not recognise my player

Have you tried going onto 'My Computer'? Or if Vista 'Computer'?

If you cannot see it on there, then right-click on 'Computer', then go to properties. If it's XP then click on the tabs until you find 'Device Manager' if your using Vista you should find Device Manager on the left hand upper side corner. Make sure you device is plugged in, and if it's not installed properly. You may see the device on there with a yellow warning like '!'. If you do, then right-click and you should find it say install. Click on there, and it should install it so then you can use it.

Hope that helps?

CProblems onnecting Archos 700 after connecting 605 to PC

It is very possible the drivers conflict. You should try uninstalling everything to do with the one you don't want. Then install the drivers/software for the 700. Also what software are you using and what version?
Thanks,
Lee

Not recognising my creative zen mp3 player...

i had the same problem but solved it, it seems that the usb driver does not always install with the software installation. so you must install using the DEVICE MANAGER make sure first your mp3 player is connected, so ( copy & paste) your software to desktop, then go to CONTROL PANEL, then SYSTEM, then HARDWARE then DEVICE MANAGER, in device manager you should see ( zen v plus ) with a yellow question mark above it, which means the drivers are missing, click onto that and follow instructions to install the drivers which you will find in the software you have pasted to desktop. good luck, tony spain

Today I wanted to install my good old Digisette Duo mp3 player software but it came as a surprise that digisette.com or whatever the official site used to be, does not exist anymore. Luckily, I still have my installation cd but some of you might not have it anymore. For you, and as a backup for myself, I uploaded the drivers and the manager application to copy files to the player.

I have the DUO-64 (AR 300) but it might work for other types too.
