You need a cable, and software.
To make it all work: 1. Read the first post completely. It contains links to a zipfile with the files to install the driver, and instructions for installation. 2.Download/buy the PhoneTools or MobileEdit. Motorola PhoneTools (http://www.bvrp.com/customers/motorola/upgrade/US/) MobileEdit (full version): (http://www.mobiledit.com) I say buy the software so you have a legitimate complaint if something doesn't work as expected. 3.If you want to edit MP3s to suit, then find, download, and install either audacity or Nero (I think that's a $$ product or get portable UltraISO). 4.Then attach the phone, cable, computer and enjoy!
It is not hard to change the faceplates on cell phones but you will need a special screwdriver to take the faceplate off, It looks like an octogon. I am not sure if it will fix the lens but when you look at the new plate you will be able to tell. Anymore question just giveme a shout bud.
This is very simple to fix. I have replaced 2 of them already. You can buy the new glass for I believe $6.99 or around that delivered from someone selling them on eBay. Then just pull out the old glass etc. Then the new piece has a little trim of double sided tape on it to fit into the exact same spot.
Sorry for the "smart" answer, but it really is the solution. Make sure your work area is clean and free of clutter on a non abrasive surface. Remove all screws underneath the rubber "plugs" covering them and then the plate should come off.
you simply need a replacement screen, or do as I have and redneck mod one. If you get the screen take off the faceplate, (reply with email address for guide), remove the cracked screen, and glue on the new one. (WARNING, NEVER PRY OFF THE CRACKED SCREEN ON TOP OF THE LCD SCREEN) putting pressure on this could completely damage your phone. The other way is to again remove the face plate and cracked screen. then find a hard plastic or plexiglass, cit it out to size and there you go. you can even paint the edges black on the bottom side of the screen and very few will know the difference if you do this correctly.
