Dead k800i how to fixed it?and my pc can't recognized it...please help!thanks!

    I have the same problem. The red light in the infrared port illuminates when charging. I have also a new battery installed but it still will not switch on nor is it recognised with my PC when attached to try and get it sorted using the WotanServer software.

Sony Ericsson K800i says insert sim and only allows emergency calls
Your sim card might be loose in it's place. Or you may need to "open line" your phone.
Better solution? Purchase a new sim,not a vodafone sim. For you to know what the problem is.
