If you have a psp 2000.I can't advice you to do it youeself because the
menu of the psp 2000 is very sensitve. But if you have psp 3000 that
has a cfw of gen. Just press select at the home menu of the psp then
just change the usb device into memory stick then try it in your computer the files must show. The games are in the iso folder.
To download PSP games, you need to have atleast 1 gb memory card. 1. Go to http://pspiso.com/ new websyt dont mind de 1 in de video 2. Click on downlaods then iso/cso the click on a catogory then download the game you want 3. Turn your psp on to usb mode then drag your downloaded game into the iso folder if you dont have one make one in capitals eg"ISO" then on your psp menu go to memory stick in game heading then your game should be there if you get a message like cannot start game do this:on your psp menu press home a short list should come up wer it says umd iso mode go down to that then change that mode to oe isofs by using the right direction key on your psp. there enjoy You need to have also a custom firmware eg 3.52-m33-4 and any other firmwares. You can view the video on youtube through this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VPIB_I_QJGQ
is your PSP modified/CFW? if not it wont play cso or iso games. When u formatted your memory stick it will create ISO folder in the root of the memory stick. you said you created the folder, sounds to me that your not using CFW. this wont work.
If your using CFW/modified then format your memory stick using format option of your psp. Copy the cso/iso files to the ISO folder and that should work.
Please check you update. If your update is low, you must upgrade it to 3.52 m33 then download a firmware 3.70 m33 or higher to get the m33 recovery.
As your PSP start press SELECT and you can see a menu then go to "UMD ISO MODE" from "normal" change it to "Sony NP9660" then exit.
Now enjoy playing ISO or CSO game. Happy playing.
Earlier Your PSP was installed with Custom Firmware. Thats why you were able to play Backup ISO's from Memory Stick. You have now updated your firmware to Original SONY firmware and SONY wont allow you to run Backup ISO's from Memory Stick.
If you want to play Backup ISO's again you need to install Custom Firmware
To play game on your memory stick you'll need Custom Firmware installed
such as M33/OE on your PSP, else if you play a UMD. The last CFw Update
What is version on your PSP? (on PSP Menu, move across to the
"Settings Menu". Scroll down, select to "System Settings" >
"System Information" and you should see version of your PSP.)
Here's at MyBlog, how to install CFw Guides. If this is the first time you've used the Memory Stick Duo, you must format it with PSP to create the proper PSP folder structure. then copy your game *.ISO/CSO into ISO folder, and DevHook folder to the root on your memory.
Hope this helpful/idea. Pls post back should you need additional information. ^_^
