Victor. The prewash flashing is indicating a water fill issue. Rinse uses cold water only. check for clogged inlet screen on the cold water valve, and check if there is a screen on the supply valve also. If the inlet screen is all clogged up at the valve on the washer, you can clean it with a little windex and an old soft tooth brush. gently brush away any sediment or debris. If no filters are clogged, you will need to replace the fill valve assembley.
The first thing I would check is shut off the cold water valve at the wall and remove the hose at the washer.carefully pry out the little screen in the inlet and clean well, reconnect hose and turn water back on FH is a water inlet issue I am hoping that what is happening is that when the washer starts its wash cycle it is probably filling with warm (hot) and cold water at the same time even though it might be mostly hot,but when it comes time to rinse (cold water ) there is not enough to make the computer happy and you get your FH error.. Hope this Helps,,If not your probley looking at a new fill valve assy
Hi, welcome to Fixya.
Immediately what comes to mind, actually two things. Fabric softner can often be too thick to dispense properly in front load dispenser's unless deluted half & half with water before adding. The other thing is this, it could be the water inlet hoses connected backwards, i.e. Hot going to cold and cold to hot at the washer, hence in the rinse cycle when cold water should enter the fabric softner chamber it doean't.
Let me know what you find as I will look for your reply.

Good luck. Macmarkus :)
Mrs Vargas, if you wash on 'warm' you're using both hot and cold water mixed together. If the cold inlet valve is faulty (not uncommon) the machine will fill with hot water alone. When the machine gets to rinse, it can't advance because F&P machines rinse only with cold water. If the valve is faulty it can't fill. So it stops!...Not a big job for a tech....Good luck....Nomess
We recommend the following when a washer's cycles dont advance..
If the washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer does not advance, the timer probably needs to be replaced
If the timer does not advance while the washer is in a spin cycle, the timer probably needs to be replaced
If the timer does not advance during the rinse cycle, check whether water has filled the tub, if not, it is likely cold water related. Check the cold water supply valve, check the supply hose for kinks, check the filter screen and check the water inlet valve
hi, The cycle doesn't advance When the cycle doesn't advance, it's probably the timer or a cold-water supply problem:
It's the timer, if your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer.
It may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse water. See There's no cold water.
check the cold water supply, either from the mains pipe, there is no water getting into the machine, if water is there up to the machine check the solenoid for circuit, to do this unplug from electric, remove lid, and test the two wires on relevant solenoid, no circuit means faulty solenoid, (test with the 2 wires removed from solenoid) take care note position of wires to put back properly
