Superantispyware may or may not remove it, this program will:

Called malwarebytes antimalware. I use it three times a day. superantispyware is not bad, but malwarebytes will remove it in a quick scan without needing to go to safe mode. regardless, my suggestion download BOTH run BOTH in a full scan, start with malware bytes full scan after updating them both. then reboot and run full scan of the superantispyware as well, do this for every login. it will also fix the hijacked backround, and the missing tabs in video properties. which I can also help you with but it should do this for you automatically, also NOD32 will keep it out once it's removed:

oh, as for your follow up it is classified as rogue antivirus malware. which basically means bad, ie it fakes you into thinking that somehow your computer is infected and that you need to purchase their software to remove it.

Windows 7 Keygen won't execute and causes a APPCRASH

Delete any new programs that you have downloaded.

Often, the cause of corruption in a computer system is a bad download that installs harmful files.

If you started to get the Appcrash error on your system after downloading a new program or software from the Internet, it's highly likely you have downloaded a bad product.

Use the "Add/Remove Programs" feature in the Control Panel to get rid of the program immediately.

Uninstall the program that is crashing.

It is possible to fix the program's corrupted files while the program is still installed, but to make sure that you clear the program files completely, it is safest to completely uninstall it from the system.

Run a full scan of your computer.

Your computer should already have antivirus software installed that can scan for corrupted files and either fix them or delete them from your system.

If you do not have antivirus software on your computer, that could be a big part of the problem.

Purchase and install antivirus software as soon as possible.

Once you have the antivirus program installed, open it and click "Scan Computer."

The antivirus scan will isolate bad files and you will be given the option to remove them from your system.

Reinstall the program that was crashing.

Now that the corrupted files have all been removed, your program should run smoothly after reinstallation.

Check for program incompatibility.

If, after a thorough scan and cleaning of your computer and reinstallation of your program, the

Appcrash errors continue, the program you are trying to use may not be compatible with your operating system or other programs on your computer

rather than purchasing an antivirus program use one of these freeware programs

Antivirxp08, is the name of virsus on my computer

The infection that you have are rogue antivirus programs that, when run, display false results as a tactic to scare you into purchasing the software. Older versions of XP Antivirus would create 9 entries in your Windows Registry that impersonate infections on your machine. In reality, though, these registry entries were harmless and had absolutely no effect on your computer. Instead, these entries were set so that XP AntiVirus can find them when scanning your computer and report them as infections. The newer of versions of the program , such as XP Antivirus 2008 and XP Antivirus 2009, instead just display false results when scanning your computer that state infections were found. In order to remove these fake infections, though, you would first need to purchase the software as the trial does not allow you to remove them. To get rid of the infections you can goto:

www.malwarebytes.org and download it for free...

Try this, boot into safe mode with networking(press f8 during the post screen when you turn your computer on and chose safe mode with networking). Once you have logged into your account, in internet explorer go to www.ewido.com and run the online scanner(link is in the top right corner). If you still can't use your web browser in safe mode, download a couple anti malware programs on another computer and burn them to a cd or flash drive. Install them on your computer in "normal" mode and make sure they're updated. Then boot back into safe mode and run the programs individually. A couple good free anti malware programs are Spybot Search and Destroy, Lavasoft Adaware, and Superantiyspyware.

Trend Micro Antivirus/Vista Antivirus 2008

Hello there.

Unfortunately you have been infected, by the software called "Vista Antivirus 2008". What this software does is infect you, then prompt you to pay to remove the infection that it installed. So it is a scam.

What i would recommend is use the uninstall instructions from here http://www.windowsvistaplace.com/xp-antivirus-2008-removal-instructions-xp-antivirus-2008/spyware-removal

This will remove the infection (and others) from your system.

Once you have completed the steps, be sure to try an online scanner such as housecall here http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
This will not conflict with your already-installed Trend Micro software, it mearly runs through your web browser.

On that note, Internet Explorer is not very safe for browsing the Internet with, i would recommend either Firefox or Opera for a safer/better browsing experience.

Hope this helps.

Hi
Antivirus 2008 is an adware program - a form of virus. You should be able to get rid of it using a good antispyware program or something like norton antivirus. If you do not have a program installed I suggest you try using spyware doctor:
http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/download/

That will help remove antivirus 2008. I also suggest you install an antivirus program if you do not already have one. I good free option is AVG antivirus:
http://free.avg.com/

Together these programs should help solve your problem and prevent further virus infection.

Hope this helps, good luck!

I bought the antivirusxp 2008 and it keeps asking me to buy it. I haven't being able to do nothing with my computer.

AntivirusXP 2008 sometimes called Antivirus XP 2008, is a rogue anti-spyware program designed by hackers to take your money in return for a useless program. We have noticed that the creators of rogue anti-spyware programs such as AntivirusXP 2008 and Antivirus 2008 are using the year ?2008″ in the name of their deceiving programs. As if we did not know what year this is. We have found that many of the programs that end with ?2008″ in the name just like AntivirusXP 2008, may be related to one another in that they perform the same malicious actions.
AntivirusXP 2008 is very dangerous to have installed on your computer. AntivirusXP 2008 may install other files or programs that pose a serious threat to the security of your system. AntivirusXP 2008 may ultimately allow your personal information to be sent to a remote user who has access to your system through a security hole. AntivirusXP 2008 may come from a Trojan such as Zlob or even the Antivirusxp2008.com website which promotes the AntivirusXP 2008 rogue anti-spyware program.
