I got my samsung p2 just about a week ago. and now it doesnt want to on. i tried pressing the on button a few times. but it does'nt help. so i tried charging it. but it dosent charge.. and the ususal red light that comes on when charging dosent come on.what do i do?
I called tech support because i was having the same problem....on the back, there is a reset button (YP-P2JAR at least) you must hold the reset button for 30 seconds, then turn it on. Worked for me!
Make sure the HOLD button isnt up:P

Sounds like a fault on the phone, have you contacted your dealer or samsung for repairs yet? got warranty on it?
we really can't do any miracles over the internet but I will look into this, check your warranty while I do that.

HEYY. okay. mine did the exact same thing but i took a toothpick and pressed the "reset" button on the back of the player. after i hit it once or twice, i tried turning it on and it worked.

Yeah I've got the same problem. Got my p2 a month ago and now I can't turn it on or charge it. I don't know if its the battery or if i put too much pressure on the screen when I put the mp3 player in my bag.
i have about the same problem. But it happens when i just on it for the 1st time. the music is on but nothing shown on the screen. i have charged it for quite long. 2 hours.
I have the same problem but the light works completly but no music or screen....
