Question about Magellan eXplorist 100 GPS Receiver

1 Answer

Changing displayed time

I bought my eXplorist 100 while on holiday in New Zealand. Back home in Australia, the time shown is three hours ahead.

How can I change the time? Do I have to do a reset? If so, will I lose the way points I've already stored in NZ?

Go to Preferences, select Restart GPS. Then Enter Coordinates. Keep hitting the enter key until you get to the time field, now set your local time. And no, you will not lose your POI.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!
