Question about Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3 Digital Camera

Acquire pictures from Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3

I'm sure I'm being totally obtuse, but I've been trying for an hour to work out how to acquire only selected photos from my Lumix camera, DMC-TZ3. I've successfully acquired my photos using PhotoFunStudio, but then took 6 more photos I want to download as well.

There's no way I can find how to just select and acquire just those 6. Finally I've given up and my camera is presently re-downloading 391 already downloaded pics just so I can acquire the 6 latest ones. I understand that if a photo is detected as already acquired, it will skip that one, but the trouble is I've moved my photos to other folders, so the whole lot is now going to be re-downloaded.

There must be a better way of just getting a small number and not the lot! With my previous cameras I could check a box beside any photo I wanted to acquire.

I don't think this quite answers my problem, but thank you for the reply. I know how to select specific files once they are downloaded, so I can print them or move them or copy them, etc.

But my problem is how to select only certain pictures to be acquired from my camera, instead of acquiring the whole lot of them.

    Thanks!

Thanks! Yes, I was misunderstanding - so I'm by-passing the need to use the PhotoFunStudio. Excellent!

Its obvious that you did not understand my solution.

this is your question. "But my problem is how to select only certain pictures to be acquired from my camera, instead of acquiring the whole lot of them."

MY answer is. Once you connected the camera to the computer. the computer will create the directory drive that is viewable in my computer. Since that there is new directory created such d: or E: f: or what is the drive created on it. you can browse it and select the pictures you wish to copy. in there you copy pictures you wanted.

I know that you use application program to copy your pictures. close that program and browse to my computer. You found directory of your camera there.

When I acquire pictures from SD card, it acquires

You shouldn't be leaving the old pictures on the card. That's a guaranteed way to get into trouble. After downloading your pictures, format the card in the camera.

If you want to transfer just the new pictures, you'll have to select those pictures for transfer. Since you declined to specify what software you're using, I can't tell you precisely how to do that.

The only way is to use a separate card reader. When it opens on your computer, select the new pics and drag and drop them where you want them.
