This worked perfectly. Unplug cable box for 30 seconds, plug it back in, and that's it!

Solution #2 worked.

I had this same problem last night and this morning. I called the Samsung tech center, and was informed there repair system was currently down and to call back for an appoitment. Next best thing for me to do was turn to the internet. I tried Soulution #2, and it worked on the first try. Thanks for the info.

I had the same problem, green screen, no picture, audio OK. DVD player had a picture. Our other TVs were OK. Cable provider had me unplug my cable box for 30 seconds and plug it back in and now it works! I found this out by an online chat with my cable provider.

Black screen with a Blinking lamp in the front

Hi..if your lamp is on but no picture, then your lamp is good. Your problem is the DMD board (digital mirror display board) is bad. This is very common with Samsung DLP.

Green Screen

If set displays intermittent green outlines around images, check DVI cable attached to DMD board from digital board. Poor connections on the DVI jack on the DMD board can cause the intermittent symptom. Pull up slightly on the body of the DVI cable connector and check video. Replace DMD board as necessary.
