Question about HP Pavilion dv2000t 14.1" Notebook Laptop PC (Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 1.66 GHz, 1GB RAM, 100GB HDD, D... PC Notebook
When loading DVD, says wrong Region code, according to HP the dvd drive has been locked to Region 1, am I able to Restore it back to normal (factory settings)?
Open My Computer and right click on the DVD Drive and pick Properties. Then click Hardware tab. Then select your DVD Drive from the list and click the Properties button at the bottom.
Then click DVD Region tab at the top.
It should tell you how many more region changes are possible. If it says 0 then it is not possible.
